I like paper books. I would say that I prefer them because the object contains a single universe. When I open a book, I open a box-universe dedicated to it. And once closed, it is less influenced by what I do before I want to continue reading it. It allows me to cut with the rest. Now, with digital tools, dedicated to multi-task, I tend to function as the RAM of a computer: I remember from this task what I process at the moment, and if I make another task I override the previous one.

New versatiles boxes

That's at 4/5 of my studies I became really interested in new medias. I wanted to exploit new narrative forms that arose. I have begun to gather a list of mediums that I admire (first round visible here): interactive spatial narrative, heterochronous animation, art game, hypercomics, Turbomedia or progressive scrolling. Just thinking about it, I have the heart racing!
I want to get back to it, to rediscover and enrich the narrative world. I'm not very comfortable when it comes to create a story, a script, but I would start, like usually, from a theme, an idea and will build a story, as short as it is, hoping the reader will approriates it.

  1. Absolutely agree with you about paper books, I love the feel and smell of them, but sadly a lot of the books I'd like to read I have to find online, because we don't have them in Bulgaria :(
Oh my, so many stuff you're doing now, that's why I like you, you're so smart you make me feel incredibly dumb! :D
Heterochronous animation sounds like something from another universe :D I would love to read a post from you about your current interests and stuff you do, it would be so interesting for me! ^_^
